Meet the Doctor

Dr. Lauren Preis

Dr. Lauren Preis was raised in McAdoo, Pennsylvania.  Growing up, she was always involved in athletics and was a very active child, with many injuries that needed chiropractic care.  While in, college she wanted to help people and was very interested in other’s health.  It was only after a set of circumstances and job shadowing that she realized that a career in chiropractic was what she was meant to do.  She graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Biology and a minor in Psychology from The Pennsylvania State University.  During this time, she was very involved with campus activities and was a professional dancer for arena football.  She graduated, cum laude, from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, Florida, where she received her Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine in 2012. Dr. Preis worked in Daytona Beach Shores and Ponte Vedra Beach before finding herself here at Bartram Family Chiropractic.  She is one of the owners along with Dr. Eric Thompson and Dr. Preis is the practicing doctor.   Dr. Preis continues to further her education, so she can have the most recent research and techniques for her patients. She is trained and experienced in the treatment of many neuromusculoskeletal conditions, rehabilitative exercises, cranial work, Sacral Occipital Technique, Webster Technique, and nutrition/supplementation. She is a Certified Practioner in Pediatrics by the Academy of Chiropractic Family Practice and the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.  She is also a certified personal trainer with AFAA.  Dr. Preis has a holistic and integrative approach that includes many aspects of health (physical, emotional, and environmental) and works with other healthcare professionals.  She cares for all ages, from pregnancy/newborns to geriatrics to restore and maintain optimal health.  She does many talks locally and she hopes to inspire people/families to take control of their health and embrace preventative care.

Dr. Preis enjoys spending time with her husband, Kyle and their black lab Maddie. She is expecting their first child, a son, in the beginning of December.  When she has time, she enjoys traveling to see her family and friends up north, going to the beach, reading, do it yourself projects, sporting events and all physical outdoor activities.
